Ryan Gosling on being Canadian

Ryan Gosling on being Canadian
Ryan Gosling on being Canadian. Ryan Gosling is known for being a sexy, brooding character, making women swoon in his wake in his movies. But the actor is also an accomplished musician and took his music on the road today and played the baglamas while walking down the street in New York City. Gosling looked like a nerdy artist as he casually pounded the pavement while strumming his musical instrument.

He wore grey trousers, a white v-neck T-shirt and had a brown cardigan thrown over his shoulders.

The baglamas was attached to string which he hung around his neck for comfort while enjoying his outdoor concert for one.

He looked like he did not have a care in the world and was totally immersed in his song.

Gosling is no stranger to music, in fact he has his own band called Dead Man's Bones and performs under the alias Baby Goose.

The 30-year-old Canadian star sings and plays guitar in the band that he is in with Zach Shields.
The baglamas is a long necked bowl-lute stringed instrument used in Greek music.

It's tiny size is popular with musicians who need an instrument that is easily transportable or small enough to put under a coat.

Hollywood's new golden boy Bradley Cooper will be joining Gosling in his upcoming film The Place Beyond the Pines.

The movie, which has been described as a multi-generational crime drama - follows a professional motorcyclist (Gosling) who turns to robbing banks to support his newborn son.

However, when he meets a rookie police officer (Cooper), their confrontation spirals into a generational feud.

Gosling is also joining the cast of Gangster Squad where he will star opposite Sean Penn and Josh Brolin.

His next film Crazy, Stupid, Love is released on July 29 which he stars in with Steve Carell and Julianne Moore.

The Notebook star is also rumoured to have grown close to House star Olivia Wilde who has recently divorced her Italian prince husband.
